Silicon Carbide Pipe Cone

Short Description:

Sintered alpha silicon carbide pipe tube is produced by sintering ultra-pure sub-micron powder. This powder is mixed with non-oxide sintering aids, then formed into complex shapes by a variety of methods and consolidated by sintering at temperature above 3633 degrees Fahrenheit.

The sintering process results in a single-phase fine-grained silicon carbide that is very pure and uniform, with virtually no porosity enabling the materials to withstand corrosive environments, abrasive environments, and environments operating under high temperature (2552 degrees Fahrenheit). These properties make sintered alpha silicon carbide ideal for applications such as pipe liner , cyclone liner.

Product Application :

Silicon carbide pipe cone is a silicon carbide product with a specific shape and size, and its application fields are wide and diverse.
1) Fluid transmission in high temperature environment: Silicon carbide’s heat resistance and wear resistance make it suitable for fluid transmission systems in high temperature environments, such as pipelines for high-temperature gases, liquids and granular materials in chemical, metallurgical and other fields.

2) Precision mechanical parts: Silicon carbide’s high hardness and wear resistance make it an ideal material for manufacturing precision mechanical parts. For example, some precision parts in photolithography machines may adopt the design of silicon carbide pipe cone shape.

3) Other special applications: According to specific needs, silicon carbide pipe cones may also be used in other special fields, such as aerospace, nuclear industry, etc.
