Abrasion resistant ceramic lining plate is also called alumina ceramic lining plate. Its hardness is second only to diamond in Rockwell hardness HRA=82-90, so it is a very difficult material to cut. And construction is a process that requires cutting technology. So how to complete ceramic cutting during the actual installation of wear-resistant ceramics?
We recommend using diamond cutting blades for cutting. If there is a cutting machine on site, a cutting machine can be used. If you don’t have a cutting machine, just use a diamond cutting blade and equip it with a hand-held angle grinder. Spray some water on the blade while cutting to cool it down.
The position of cutting is very important. You must start from the end and do not cut through at one time. Alumina wear-resistant ceramics will break when subjected to shear force. Cutting and grinding back and forth in the transverse direction at the stress point will gradually increase the thickness. Penetration; before dividing, be sure to measure and mark the cutting area in advance. It takes a long time to cut the finished product, which is normal.
2. Cutting before machine forming and sintering: At this time, the wear-resistant ceramic lining plate is in a semi-finished state, and the hardness is not too high, so the cutting place is measured in advance and marked. After the cutting operation is completed, it is installed in the kiln and fired. Can. It should be noted that this process needs to be completed at the manufacturer, and the dimensions of the mining equipment that require wear-resistant protection must be measured in advance. Then cut it according to the size of the device.
As a manufacturer of wear-resistant ceramics, Chemshun Ceramics has well ceramic production and cutting technology. Welcome to contact us.
